We catch a local bus with revolving fans with local flare to start the trek back to Bangkok.
Oh, and its Christmas Day.
Going back to Bangkok and knowing that was where I was going to be my last 2 days in asia was genuinely making me sad. It was time to go though i guess. We arrive back in Bangkok and guess whatttt…we get off our bus and into a minivan. I open my day pack which was right next to me on the bus, inches from my head, and everything was stolen! all my Baht to last me the next few days, $160 USD which i had been holding onto for 4 months! my brand new phone that i also only had for emergencies and never used (thank god), extra batteries and chargers…it was shitty, but they didn’t take my passport! I would die if i had to stay in bangkok for a couple weeks until i got a new one. seriously. I got out of that minivan sooo fast and confronted all the men that were on the bus. I thought i was finally going to get in a fight! it didn’t happen. sigh. they pretended not to understand or care about what i had to say. Merry Christmas to me!
